Brief History and objective ::

MECO commenced production of PCC poles in January 2010 and at the same time was in the completion stage of setting up the RCC Hume pipe manufacturing unit. Within 2 months from commencement of PCC Pole manufacturing, MECO started manufacturing of RCC Hume Pipes not under his own name but on job work basis for Mukherjee Engineering Company. MECO has currently supplied more than 15000 PCC poles to L&T ECC Limited (WBSEDCL/PGCIL RGGVY projects) and Maytas Infrastructure Limited (PGCIL RGGVY projects) for their projects in Midnapore, Howrah and Barasat.

Considering availability of all required facilities for RCC Hume pipe manufacturing, MECO currently has strong intention of aggressively entering the market of RCC Hume pipe manufacturing and selling on its own.

RCC Hume Pipe ::

We have facilities to manufacture and supply RCC Hume pipes of different sizes ranging from 150mm – 1600mm and categories NP2, NP3, NP4 (Flash Joint and Spigot Socket). We assure you of best quality and the most competitive pricing.

Power ::

Electricity is the main source of power. As an alternative source, 63 KVA D.G. Set is already installed and is functioning properly.

Factory Facilities ::

  • 1. Factory area – 4.5 bighas
  • 2. Production shed - 4000 sq. ft. (appx.)
  • 3. Store – Store room of 3000 sq. ft. (appx.)
  • 4. Vat – Admeasuring 50000 cubic ft. (appx.)
  • 5. List of plant and machineries include mixture machine, spinning machines, vibrators, reinforcement binders etc.
  • 6. We have a hydraulic crane to expedite the production and loading (delivery) process.

Testing Facilities ::

Our prime focus is to deliver pipes of high quality and with accurate construct. All of our products are in compliance with ISI standards because we manufacture, control quality and conduct performance assessment tests of our entire range as per the standards laid by Indian standards Institution (ISI). We stringently monitor the quality adherence of pipes from the stage of production till final dispatch to customer’s end. Some of the test / assessments we conduct to check the quality of our products are:
